This Robert Box was first noted on a land Warrant (No. 332) for Robert Box (his father) for 300 acres in Green Co. (Tennessee) lying on Meadow Creek on the North side of Nolichucky (River). He was Robert Box, Junr. , listed as a chain carrier for the surveyor C. D. Meeks on 9th day of October 1784.
In April 1797, there was a Robert Box and a Stephen Box, thought to be brothers, noted in the Sumner Co. TN Court Minutes. In 1800-1805, Robert Box and Stephen Box were noted in Smith Co. TN which had previously been part of Sumner Co. In 1803, Robert Box bought 150 acres on Long Creek and sold it in 1805.
In 1807, Stephen Box purchased 200 Acres in White Co. TN near Elk River and in the time frame of 1807-1809, Robert Box, Stephen Box and Henry Box (believed to be brothers) were listed as chain carriers in land surveys of White Co. TN. In 1808, Robert Box was listed on land deeds in Franklin Co. TN. Robert Box and Stephen Box were listed on the tax roll of Franklin Co. TN in 1812 and Robert Box bought land on Elk River in Franklin Co. in 1815.
Robert Box, Sr. (b. abt 1763) of the 1820 Census of Franklin Co. TN was Robert Box, Jr. in the 1790 Census of Pendleton Co. SC. He was the son of Robert Box, Junr. (b. 1734) of Raborn Creek, Laurens Co. SC who was later the Robert Box, Sr. in the 1790 Census of Pendleton Co. SC.
He and Jane Goodwin had 11 children that were listed in his will written May 7, 1821 in Franklin Co. TN. His will listed seven sons, John, Robert, George, James, Micajah, Goodwin & Neeley and four daughters, Ruth Box, Ann Box , Mary Box Ivy and Sarah Box McDaniel.
This Robert Box (b. abt. 1763) made his mark "X" on his will, and there is documentation his father, Robert Box, (b. abt. 1734) made his mark "R" on a number of occasions and his grandfather, Robert Box (b. abt. 1709) signed his name on a number of occasions.

Goodwin Box, born 1803in South Carolina, died after i860. He married Nancy who was born 1802 in S.C...and died after i860. They were enumerated in 1830 Hardeman Co. Tenn., and 1840, 1850 & in I860 Franklin Co. Ala. census.
Hardeman Co. Tenn. deeds in 1836 show Goodwin Box selling to Bills and McNeal land registered in Book D page 413. Then on pg 415 of the same book, Goodwin Box was buying land from Robert Box.
