Born 26 Nov 1933 Boise, Ada, Idaho., died 27 Jul 2006 Los Angeles, California, 72 years Donna Lorene Salinero, 72, of Palm Desert, Calif. died July 27, 2006 in Los Angeles, Calif. She was born Nov. 26, 1933 to Edwin Baker and Cecile (Dotson) Baker in Boise, Idaho. She married John Salinero on Nov. 8, 1948 in Reno, Nev. She was an advocate for the mentally challenged at The Foundation for the Retarded of the Desert for 23 years. She is survived by her husband, John Salinero of Palm Desert, Calif.; sons, Richard Salinero of Palm Desert, and Daniel Salinero of Indio, Calif.; sister, Jewel Ramay of Brentwood, Calif.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Sister Beverly Cox preceded her in death Funeral Service will be Aug. 3, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Forest Lawn Ramon Chapel. Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Cathedral City, with Forest Lawn Cathedral City in charge of arrangements.
