Born during a blizzard.
After living on Mr. Hillreay's Ranch for a year after they married in 1882, they went to Hallridge.
The following December they left that ranch and moved to Denmark.
In 1885 they went on train to Butte, Montana.
The following Spring (1886) they went "down on the Jefferson Valley" and in the Fall (1886) moved on to Eagle Rock (now Idaho Falls) with a wagon team. They lived their for two years (1887/1888).
In 1889 they were in Teton Basin and then moved back to Butte, Montana.
They lived in Butte from 1889 to 1893.
1894 Judd stayed in Butte to work at the smelter and mine and Martha took the kids and went back to Iowa to live with her mother for one year (1894).
Judd went to iowa and the family moved to Seymour, Iowa in 1894.
Right begor eDoris was born in 1896 the family moved back to Augusta.
Kessie died when she was 8 and one-half months old.
In about 2 and one-half years the family moved to Omaha (1897-1901) where they lived for 4 years with Judd's sister (May Bell) and her family.
In 1902 they moved to IDaho after Martha divorced Judd due to his alcoholism.
They went to Camas Prairie, idaho.
They were they for a while and then went to Elgin, Oregan for a few months and then to Boise, Idaho where MArtha settled down.
Martha's mom Hannah came out in about 1907 to live with Martha and became known as "Little Grandma". (She would have been 82).
Martha was a member of the 2nd Presbyterian Church of Boise.
