1850 census puts her birth in 1833. 1860 census puts her birth at 1835. Martha is in the 1870 census but not in the 1880 census. 1870 they were in Benton, Keokuk, Iowa and in 1880 they were in Lincoln, Union, Iowa. . In the 1880 census Almond marked "widowed/divorced" box. The youngest child is May B. who is five.

He died when he was 64 years old from cerebral hemorrhage. Marriage register lists him as farmer. 1900 Census lists him as a day laborer in Omaha, Douglas, Nebraska with Matha, Bennett, Myrtle, Perry, Elsie, Virgie, and brother Mack.

1949 Family History says Martha and Judge were married in a Catholic church. Martha's mother was Methodist so it is assumed Judge's family was Catholic. From 1889-1893 when they lived in Butte, Montana, Judd worked at a smelter and mine.

In their divorce decree it's stated thye were married in the city of Preston.
